Trudging through
trying to survive
No emotion
just staying alive

Looking for hope
so I can thrive
A higher consciousness
is what I strive

 I see hands in the ground
 They're tryin to pull me down
 Like a zombie tale
 But I will not fail

 I feel my ankles grabbed
 I feel my soul get stabbed
 But I will fight through
 That's all I can do

Finding light
when its turned dark
Holding it together 
when its falling apart

Deflecting anger 
before it can start
Don’t get sucked in
stay true to your heart
