DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL

Down in this hole
fighting for control
I can't surrender
my ego
Shaking my head in doubt
All I wanna do is scream and shout
Following the light is my 
only way out

 In the dark night of my soul
 I feel the midnight taking hold
 But there's one thing that I know
 It's the perfect time to grow

 So if the universe led me to it
 Then the universe will get me through it
 So I will hunker down in this cold
 and light the dark night of my soul

Looking up towards the sky
But what I need to do is look inside
I need to find the part I'm 
trying to hide
Pushing it down
But it needs to be found
I'm telling myself Ill be
safe and sound
