O'Pinion Tree

I’m eatin’ from that O’pinion tree
That grows there down the road.
I’ve stopped and picked some O’pinions there
I’ve gathered quite a load!

I got some for my neighbor and
My sister needs some, too.
I’ll not forget to add in the boss!
In fact, he’ll get a few!!

O'pinions, O'pinions
They stop the flow of bliss
O'pinions, O'pinions and God is all there is

I got O’pinions for everyone!
I pass them out for free!
But you see, those ol’ O’pinions of mine
Are really harming me!!

O’pinions create suffering.
They disturb my inner peace!
And yet still I tend to eat of them
In my self-righteous dis-ease!!

O'pinions, O'pinions
They stop the flow of bliss
O'pinions, O'pinions and God is all there is

It’s said “Thou shall not bear false witness”.
This means God I must see!
And so, if I’m seeing less than God,
It’s ‘cuz I’m seeing falsely!!

So, I'll see God in you, my friend!
I see your Love and Light!
I see infinite possibility!
Your Goodness fills my sight!!

And I'll see only God in me
O'pinions I'll just let go
Let me be me in every way
And let that love light flow

O'pinions, O'pinions
They stop the flow of bliss
O'pinions, O'pinions and God is all there is

I just let that ol’ O’pinion tree
Just wither up and die.
